Young Authors and Illustrators Project

I hope to inspire and support young people in authoring and illustrating their own books by providing the necessary guidance and resources. Through the project, I hope that young people can express their creativity, improve their literacy skills, and boost their confidence.

Objectives

• Foster a love for storytelling and illustration
• Enhance reading and writing skills through the process of book creation.
• Empower young people by giving them a platform to share their stories and artwork.
• Encourage teamwork and collaboration of people from diverse backgrounds.

Activities

Book Creation Workshops:
Guiding young people through the process of thinking, drafting, editing, and illustrating their stories. Provide support to refine their work then compile finished work for publishing.

Book Launch:
Organise a book launch event where the young people can present their work to family, friends, and the community. The books will be distributed to local schools and libraries.
