Mphanje resource pilot project in 2020. Children of a village in Bunda, Malawi, took a catch-up lesson in reading and writing by a volunteer in the community using the Mphanje books, after a brief training session by the author. Most children were able to read and write the word "Ana" which means "Children" in Chichewa language.
